Storyline
What's the skinny?
The storyline of the USS Victory has been twisted and winding so far. The starship was launched from starbase Deep Space Twelve in 2379. She was assigned to search for a lost starship, taking the place of a dommed starship, the USS Pioneer, which was sabotaged en route to finding the lost vessel. The Victory was likewise sabotaged, ostensibly by one Lieutenant Commander Kira Muniz. However, the Victory was still able to complete her assignment and did in fact recover the missing vessel. Following that, the Victory was ordered to Starbase 416 on the Romulan Neutral Zone in the K'Abith system.

En route, the starship Victory's Counselor and Executive Officer were abducted by members of a race of sentients -- denizens of subspace -- known as the Vaiul. After the arduous recovery of the Executive Officer and the Counselor of the starship Victory, the Victory was able to arrive at Starbase 416, where crew investigated the impetus of the Vaiul captors.

Following these events, the Victory was slated for a refit, and docked at Starbase 416, where its members were granted personal leave. Following said leave, several new crewmembers reported aboard and were instrumental in deterring the theft of the Nacene Sporocystian remains from the cargo hold of the vessel. The Victory held a brief meet and greet and debreief in the White Star Lounge, then found themselves charged with the task of carrying the Nacene remains to Andor.

The starship Victory is now in orbit of Federation member planet Andor. Charged with courier duty, the starship has carried the the sporacystian remains brought from the Delta Quadrant by the starship Voyager. These remains, in the form of a dessicated rock, have begun to show signs of change and possibly of emergent life. The Victory is forced to defend itself, however minimally, from the Andorian Fast Defense Wing while simultaneously dealing with an emergent lifeform apparently in connection with the planet and Andor.

The starship Victory has been dumped into the far side of Dominion Space by a displacement wave of uncertain origin. Many systems are offline, including warp drive, communications, many turbolift shafts, and jeffries conduits. Shortly after arrival, the Executive Officer Kennit was rushed to Sickbay and informed of her pregnancy. Captain Utex and Security Chief Revos encountered an unknown young girl who has appeared in a cargo bay. Meanwhile, Wayland works to sort out the mess outside Victory as Flight Control Chief Renaud, Counselor Bradford, and Ensign Varik struggle to make their way to the Main Bridge.

After regaining control of the ship, the Victory crew settles in and begins to come to terms with their displacement to the far-side of the Gamma Quadrant. After coming across a Dyson Sphere, the ship investigates and discovers a vast interstellar conglomeration -- will they be friend or foe?

Following the events of "Gamma Torqueo", the starship Victory takes on a guide to this region of space. En Route to the Gamma Terminus of the Bajoran Wormhole, the ship makes a brief stop at the homeworld of The Founders, the plastigenic shape-shifting species whose Dominion of the Gamma Quadrant once threatened to spread into the Alpha Quadrant, igniting a war that spanned the galaxy. The planet is empty -- Where Have All The Founders Gone?

The starship Victory returns triumphantly to the Alpha Quadrant. Her first stop: Starbase Deep Space Nine. Unfortunately for her Commanding Officer, the pomp and circumstance of a sucessful return is heavily dampened by the losses endured during the trek from Andor to the Gamma Quadrant and back. Captain Utex is hounded once again by the agent of a shadily coalescing arm of Starfleet the seems still intent on relieving the trill of his command.

The Victory undergoes a refit, her second since leaving the construction facility four years hence. A baryon sweep is conducted, and the crew lives aboard Deep Space Nine until the sweep has been completed. The budding romance between Operations Officer Marshay and Counselor Bradford begins to solidify, and Commander Kennit-Utex' pregnancy finally comes to term. Several months after the refit, the Victory is instructed to set a course for Telcin-Mu where a asteroid-based mining facility has been compromised. When the ship arrives, they find more than one method of compromise at play.

After the Victory's journey into the secret of the Lost Founders and the revelations they found on their homeworld, the starship returns at long last to Federation space. The Victory puts into port at Deep Space Nine, and Utex is put on trial, once again, for mishandling his command of the starship at large. Though he is found innocent, the crew has been much upheaved, and there is a great deal of changeover in staffing.

Following the granting of asylum to the Piscean High Priestess Moozh, the starship Victory has been slated to appear among a host of many starships from many different races, in a modern-day "tall ships" festival. Of course, then there's the truth, too.

The devastating events of "Shine" are uncovered, and the Victory, initially dead in space having lost the race to retrieve Preserver artifacts scattered to the winds, must be restarted via system wide complete reboot. First, however, her largely dwindled crew must override the confounding command-code lockouts.
